How to make a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

  1. Add 450ml of whole milk into a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over a low heat.

  2. Turn the heat off and stir in 75g chopped dark chocolate, a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of ground cinnamon, a pinch of hot chilli powder and 3 tablespoons salted caramel sauce. Continue to stir until the chocolate has melted before adding a pinch of sea salt.

  3. Turn the heat back on and stir until it begins to simmer.

  4. Pour into cups to serve.
