Iced Peach Tea

How to make a Peach Iced Tea

  1. Add 250ml of water and 200g of granulated sugar into a pan. Bring the water to a boil slowly until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. Add 4 chopped peaches into the pan and cook until the peaches turn very soft.

  3. Once they have turned very soft, use a fork to mash them before leaving them for 1 hour to infuse.

  4. Now that you have made the syrup, pour it through a fine sieve into a jug. In order to get all of the fruit juice, mash the fruit whilst sieving.

  5. Add 4 teabags into a large heatproof jug and add 2 litres of boiling water. Leave to brew for 4 minutes before taking out the teabags. Allow it to cool before moving it into a fridge until chilled.

  6. Take the iced tea out of the fridge and mix with the peach syrup. Add ice to serve.

  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 4 teabags
  • 4 ripe chopped peaches
