Arabica coffee beans characteristics
The flavours of Arabica coffee can be different depending on the type of bean and roast that you buy. The most common Arabica coffee has a slightly sweet flavour accompanied by hints of chocolate, caramel and nuts. A hint of fruit and berries can be present as well as a slight acidity and a little bitterness. The flavours of the coffee beans can be preserved better by storing the coffee beans properly and cold brewing coffee can help bring out the sweeter flavours more.
The aroma of arabica coffee is often described as perfumey with hints of fruit. When unroasted people often say that they smell like blueberries.
