HOW TO MAKE A MACCHIATO

This step-by-step guide will teach you how to make a perfect macchiato, balancing the rich flavours of espresso with a touch of creamy milk foam for a delightful coffee experience.

How to make a Macchiato 

  1. Remove the group handle and check it is clean and dry. 

  2. Place under the grinder and select a single shot for macchiato.

  3. Level out coffee and tamp firmly. 

  4. Brush away any loose coffee and insert the handle firmly. 

  5. Place your cup under the spout and select a single dose for a macchiato (double shown).

  6. Allow 18-23 seconds for Espresso extraction. 

  7. Add two tablespoons of milk foam on top of the espresso. 

  8. Enjoy!
