  Cafe du Monde prides itself on its ability to evolve with the ever-changing industry, and launches the Service en Chambre Gen II to better suit the needs of the customer

  

• 2015

  With family values at the core of everything it does, David’s son, Michael, joins the Café du Monde business

• 2008

  On its never-ending quest to defeat normal, Café du Monde introduces its FRANKE bean to cup machines

• 2007

  The first La Spaziale espresso machine launches, and to this day continues to be an unrivalled device

• 2006

  Café du Monde’s Service en Chambre is released, awakening the hotel market to this revolutionary new design

• 2005

  Café du Monde launches its infamous coffee bags - fresh ground coffee in a filter bag but without the mess

• 2005

  A long-standing relationship with Macmillan begins, with the very first fundraising event taking place this year

• 2002

  The first bean to cup machine, the Café Suisse 100, is released

• 1999

  The first bulk brew filter coffee machines are released within the Animo range; an exciting milestone in Café du Monde’s history

• 1995

  The original Grand Cru espresso blend is developed, encompassing an uncompromised quality and consistency

• 1990

  Café du Monde welcomes Mike Osborne, who joins David as a business partner to help drive the company into the success it is today

  The Café du Monde adventure begins. The company is founded by David Latchem after being gifted a cafetière but unable to find appropriate coffee for it
