Stapleford Park - Leicestershire August 12 2014

The perfect luxury hotel and English sporting estate, Stapleford Park, stands imposing in 500 acres of Capability Brown landscaped grounds. Privately owned, the hotel lies in rural Leicestershire near Melton Mowbray, just minutes from Rutland Water. Activities include an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Donald Steele and a Clarins Spa and fitness studio. Its 51 bedrooms are individually designed, some by famous design houses, such as Wedgewood or Turnbull & Asser.

A long time fan of Café du Monde, Francisco Macedo invited them to supply the hotel with coffee and tea immediately upon assuming his role as Operations Manager. Banquets and conferences are a major part of the Hotel’s business and coffee is made in Bunn Thermofresh brewers with 5-litre removable urns. Additionally, Café du Monde supplies stainless steel cafetières with Continental blend coffee and a Gaggia espresso machine with Grand Cru beans. Much of the equipment is supplied on loan via the Company’s innovative Coffee Partnership Plan. The Hotel also uses Newby teas, winner of 65 Great Taste awards and distributed exclusively to the hotel sector by Café du Monde. Francisco has just concluded a deal to put Café du Monde’s unique Service en Chambre bedroom beverage service into the guest rooms.
