Storrs Hall - Cumbria August 12 2014

Amongst all the fine hotels in the Lake District, Storrs Hall is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular. This privately owned grade ll listed Georgian mansion enjoys an idyllic setting offering unrivalled views over Lake Windermere. This is the countryside that stirred the emotions of some of our most famous poets - Keats, Coleridge, Wordsworth. In fact, it is said that Wordsworth recited his most famous poem, ‘Daffodils’ in the drawing room.

Coffee suppliers, Café du Monde  provide a stainless steel cafetière system with coffee dispensed from an automatic portioned dispenser on their coffee partnership plan. Also on the menu is speciality coffee made from Grand Cru coffee beans on a La Spaziale traditional espresso machine.
