Windlesham Golf Club February 24 2014
Set in 154 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, yet easily accessible from the M3 motorway , is Windlesham Golf Club. It is a par 72 championship parkland course designed by former Ryder cup player, Tommy Horton. Featuring gentle slopes and streams, manicured tees and greens and fairways in immaculate condition, the course is widely regarded as one of the finest in the south-east of England. Established some 20 years ago, it is a second generation privately owned family business with Peter Lumley now Managing Director. Within the past year, over £1 million has been spent refurbishing the clubhouse facilities.
Café du Monde supplies the coffee on its unique Coffee Partnership Plan and advised the Club over its beverage facilities during the refurbishment. For speciality coffees, the Club uses Grand Cru coffee beans; for meeting rooms, Rainforest Alliance certified filter coffee and, for banqueting, coffee is served from stainless steel cafetières using Café du Monde’s Continental blend coffee.
