La Spaziale launch the new S40 range

The new S40 range of tra­di­tional espresso machines was launched at the Hos­pit­al­ity Expo 2009, Milan, Italy in Octo­ber. The first machines arrived in the UK in Novem­ber and include 2, 3 and 4 group machines in both semi-automatic and fully auto­matic ver­sions. The “flag­ship range which has vari­able group head tem­per­at­ure con­trol and the option of an auto­matic frother will com­pete against the Gag­gia “Deco”, Faema “Emblema” and the Brazil­lia “Opus Sublima”.

The World’s Biggest Cof­fee Morn­ing is Macmillan’s largest fun­drais­ing event and this year thanks to you and the thou­sands of people who joined you, Mac­mil­lan hopes to raise an amaz­ing £8.5 mil­lion for people liv­ing with cancer.

Café du Monde cel­eb­rates its 20th anniversary this year and for the last five, we have sup­por­ted the World’s Biggest Cof­fee Morn­ing. It is such a worthy cause and every year our cus­tom­ers rally round in force and enter into the spirit of the occa­sion. I am immensely proud that they have raised a mag­ni­fi­cent amount of money over the years and I am con­fid­ent that des­pite the eco­nomic cir­cum­stances this year, we will break all records. I would per­son­ally like to thank our sup­pli­ers, who have helped us in so many dif­fer­ent ways to plan the event this year.

Café du Monde has been sup­ply­ing Dil­ling­ton for 10 years with all its cof­fee and cof­fee equip­ment. Says House Man­ager, Loraine New­combe: “Cof­fee is the first thing del­eg­ates want when they exit their sem­inars. So it has to be good.
