Café du Monde’s Coffee Morning

We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all your guests for taking part in this year’s Macmillans World’s Biggest Coffee Morning , collectively the companies across the Café du Monde customer base have raised a massive £10,723.89.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s largest fundraising event and this year thanks to you and the thousands of people who joined you, Macmillan hopes to raise an amazing £8.5 million for people living with cancer.

The money that you raised during your coffee morning will fund Macmillan’s increasing range of services, including Macmillan nurses, doctors and other health professionals, new cancer care centres, a range of cancer information, practical help at home and help with money.

• £22 could fund 100 copies of Macmillan’s Cancer Guide which helps recently diagnosed people understand cancer, its treatment and the help available.
• £3,333 could keep a Macmillan cancer information and support centre stocked with all the information resources it needs to support people affected by cancer for a year.
• £121 can fund a Macmillan nurse for one day to give support, care and advice to families affected with cancer.
• Approximately £350 could pay for a convalescent break for someone with cancer and their carer.

All of Macmillan’s services are provided free and are funded entirely by the generosity of our supporters – people like you.
