Mac­mil­lans World’s Biggest Cof­fee Morning

We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all your guests for tak­ing part in this year’s Mac­mil­lans World’s Biggest Cof­fee Morn­ing , col­lect­ively the com­pan­ies across the Café du Monde cus­tomer base have raised a massive £10,723.89.

The World’s Biggest Cof­fee Morn­ing is Macmillan’s largest fun­drais­ing event and this year thanks to you and the thou­sands of people who joined you, Mac­mil­lan hopes to raise an amaz­ing £8.5 mil­lion for people liv­ing with cancer.

The money that you raised dur­ing your cof­fee morn­ing will fund Macmillan’s increas­ing range of ser­vices, includ­ing Mac­mil­lan nurses, doc­tors and other health pro­fes­sion­als, new can­cer care centres, a range of can­cer inform­a­tion, prac­tical help at home and help with money.

• £22 could fund 100 cop­ies of Macmillan’s Can­cer Guide which helps recently dia­gnosed people under­stand can­cer, its treat­ment and the help available.
• £3,333 could keep a Mac­mil­lan can­cer inform­a­tion and sup­port centre stocked with all the inform­a­tion resources it needs to sup­port people affected by can­cer for a year.
• £121 can fund a Mac­mil­lan nurse for one day to give sup­port, care and advice to fam­il­ies affected with cancer.
• Approx­im­ately £350 could pay for a con­vales­cent break for someone with can­cer and their carer.

All of Macmillan’s ser­vices are provided free and are fun­ded entirely by the gen­er­os­ity of our sup­port­ers – people like you.
