Café du Monde was founded in 1989 with the objective to "offer UK caterers the same high level of quality and profit from their beverages which they expect from other parts of their menu"
Today as the UK's 4th largest independent coffee company, we have the same objective, and although we now have 100's of customers throughout the UK, serving in excess of 50,000 hot drinks per day, our dedicated staff maintain the same level of personal service we gave to our very first customers.

Manufactured first CDM water dispensers.
1990
Raised venture capital to expand business Nationwide
1993
Launched espresso with Gaggia espresso machines.
1996
Launched Bulk Brew with Animo.
1999
Introduced first website.
2000
First Caterer & Hotelkeeper editorial.
2001
Launched bean to cup with Franke and Bulk Brew with Bravilor.
2002
Entered into a licensee agreement with the Fairtrade Foundation
2003
The first Macmillan coffee morning.
2004
Service en Chambre launched.
2005
Nominated Coffee and Tea partner to Johansens Hotels.
2006
Launched Newby Tea and La Spaziale espresso machines.
